He's really dark gray. They're from Peru. They're ceramic. They're handpainted. The hole runs horizontally under the ears. About 1 1/4 inches high and almost 1 inch wide. PCB's - Peruvian Ceramic Beads. Some of the PCB holes will take a 2mm cord, some just close to a 2mm cord.
