OK, this carnelian and other carnelian like it (not the natural goldfish carnelian), these are medium orange, is probably dyed agate from Brazil. So I was told many years ago. Under an electron microscope it probably looks the same as Brazilian agate. Temporarily strung (no clasp). There are about 48 beads on an 8mm strand.
